Pitlochry Golf Course
Pitlochry Golf Course is situated in the tranquil town of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire and offers visitors the chance to play one of Perthshire’s most visually stunning golf courses and a fitting challenge for those of all handicaps.
Pitlochry Festival Theatre
Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a repertory theatre with a seating capacity of 544. The theatre was founded by John Stewart former director of Skerry's College. Strathgarry Hotel is situated about 5 minutes drive from the theatre - or about a 20 minute walk along the banks of Loch Faskally and across the famous Dam and Fish Ladder.
Blair Athol Distillery
Blair Athol Distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland; the distillery creates the Blair Athol 8 year old and Blair Athol 18 year old whisky. The water used is taken from a spring source on Ben Y Vrackie and is an important component of the Bell's blend.
Edradour Distillery
Edradour is situated in the rolling hills above Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire and was established in 1825 it is the last of the original farm distilleries in Perthshire. At the Edradour Distillery - which is reputed to be the smallest in Scotland, which also uses the smallest stills - they make a Highland single-malt whisky.
Blair Castle
This stunning 13th century Castle has an extensive history which dates back over 700 years, and visitors can stroll through Blair Castle and view some of the exquisite artefacts, antiques, portraits and armours which have been found there over the years. Blair Castle also provides the garrison for the Atholl Highlanders, the private army of the Duke of Atholl and the only legal private army in Europe.
